1st Southeast Europe Hackathon on Digital Health and Social Wellbeing
The 1st Southeast Europe Hackathon on Digital Health and Social Wellbeing will be organized by a dynamic coalition of institutions committed to driving innovation in health and social well-being through digital solutions. Spearheaded by the I ICR Lab and HiSpace, in partnership with Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, we bring together a diverse group of experts, educators, and innovators from all over Europe. Some extended partners include prestigious institutions like Heimerer College, Institute of Southeast Europe for Health and Social Policy (ISEE-HSP) and SWISS-EP.
Our mission is to address the pressing challenges faced by the region in health and social care through interdisciplinary collaboration and cutting-edge digital tools. By connecting academia, industry, art designers and healthcare sectors, we aim to foster sustainable, scalable and affordable solutions for the population for Kosovo and the region and beyond.
Through our initiatives, we aim to build a thriving ecosystem of health and social innovation in Southeast Europe, laying the groundwork for long-term development and regional cooperation.
Objectives:
- Promote the development of digital health tools tailored to regional needs.
- Build a network between young professionals and local and global key stakeholders.
- Strengthen Southeast Europe’s innovation capacity by fostering interdisciplinary collabo-ration.
- Bridge the gap between academia, industry, and healthcare through practical problem-solving.
- Enhance digital skills and entrepreneurship in Kosovo and the region.
